i re-did a beat i did a while ago.. i lost the actual project file so all i have left of the old beat is an mp3 and i know several things that needed fixing. i changed the drums but i might change them back, and this isn't finished with variations at all. the only "variation" i added is the sample, cymbals and bass going silent right before the beat kicks in in the intro. just want some feedback on something that i am working on.

i replied to rukas' "real talk" and izzywhite's "comments"

EDIT: finished version, all that remains now is mastering:

Hate to be the technologically impaired person here but how do I get this track to download? I clicked on the link and all I got was a page trying to get me to sign up.

This is very nice. You a real nice producer, I don't know how you get your shit sounding like it does but I can't get close lol. I personally like a bit of a harder snare in my beats, but thats just a personal preference of mine. I ain't really feeling the sped up vocals on this, a) I can't tell what the fuck they are saying and b) this beat just doesn't need them... it's got its own thing to it.

So yeah, this is hella nice Rizzle.

erm.. scroll down on the page and there should be a button saying "Free" and a buttong saying "PREMIUM". click the one that says free, and a new page should appear. once again, scroll to the bottom and read the text. it is going to say something like "you have been queued for the file blahblah.mp3. the file will be available for download in XX seconds." usually you have to wait about 40-60 seconds. soon as the counter has hit the zero marker, the text disappears and a link appears.

It's a hot song, like haunted said, it would have been better to make the drums louder. Still really nice tho. BTW what program do you use to make the beats?

This is out there!
I dont think I've heard a beat like this before; not at least round soundclick or that; it's smooth as hell; kind of beat I'd love to be able to spit on - I think more than anything its screaming out for an r&b singer.

thanks you all :)

i have a mastered version at home with WAY harder and nicer drums ;) what i did was cut the bassline from 50-125hz to make way for the drums which i boosted in the same frequency range, and the other way around from 125-400hz. that sure worked wonders :) i cut the damn singing too, and the snares are louder ;) furthermore i've finished it with tons of little effects and little details like a windchime here and a cymbal swell there and you name it. i don't think i've spent this long nurturing a beat, ever. i ain't selling this for any less than $500 :D

Yeah beat needs 2 be harder/louder...everything else is real nice though...singing could be good 2 keep as background shit, cuz its pretty low and not 2 noticable. A little lower would prolly do it good. But yeah, this beat is real sick. I want it. :)

Peace
