It might not be the end of the world, more will be clear by the end of next season.He will either strip the clubs wealth and run, or he will invest and get us back to the top. Manchester United is worth alot of money in the long run if we can improve and maintain good champions league finishing positions. Secondly, debt wouldn't have the same effect on an NFL team as it would an EPL team. Like I said, I don't know much about American Football, but it has a draft system which benefits the worst teams by allowing them first pick of players. Or something. By being in debt, Manchester United will have a smaller transfer budget and will not be able to attract big name players to the club. Glazer has pledged £20m, which is peanuts for a club like Manchester United.

You're definitely right about money not always being the answer, but when you're up against Chelsea you need to be able to compete for the same, big name players. People like Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson and Miller (free, but on £34,000 a week) were a major waste of money.
