i actually dont encourage illegal downloads or theft. im against it. i just download the mixtapes u cant get from stores, online.

I use torrent sites to download American TV shows that aren't airing, or available on DVD, over here. If my supply of new Heroes, Dexter, Pushing Daisies, Gilmore Girls (season 7 is new to me) and The Office dries up, then I will not be happy.

Fact is: No "normal" guy can afford to pay for every song/album he likes or wants to listen to.

I dont care if these sites get shut down though. I rarely download music anyway.

Cd's are like 12 dollars at Best Buy sebby, you probably dont have those in Germany so music might be much more expensive there for all i know. I can understand if you mean like buying 5 or 6 albums a week, thats expensive in the long run especially for albums that may only have a few good songs on. But you could easily afford to buy one album a week if you are really into music and have a job.

I tunes is like a dollar for a single song which isnt that bad, but like Syn said they dont always have what you are looking for and are very slow at getting some songs.

I dont dl music from the net so i dont really keep up on that shit, but I do think artists should get paid for music being downloaded.

I'd be heated if the site I download from gets taken down. Seriously. I can understand what the artist might have to say, but fucckkkk. You find ALOT of dope shit out there when downloading. You won't find all that in stores. Helllll no.

True most of the time I start to like artists is when I just download for the hell of it..

i think its fuckin stupid. if i actually like an artist ill go out and buy the album.

if there is a song i feel like hearing a couple times ill download it. im not going to pay for a fuckin album that i wouldnt like.

You say downloaders are stealers. yeah they are. but who would pay 1 buck when you can get it from free? i listen to various genres of music, which means a lot of different artists. if i was to buy all of their albums i would broke by the first day i get my paycheck. also i don't use cds anymore. but i wouldnt wanna pay for a cd in mp3 format cause then I,d feel like paying for nothing cause its techncallyt virtual. alo itunes doesnt all have the tracks i want and i won't wait patiently wait for them to get them.

the last cd i bought was eminem's encore. and that i bought it before even downloading it. nowadays i download everything and i rarely find something thats really worthy of my money.

as simple as that and i won't change my philosophy of this anytime soon.
