I hope Reggie sucks it up and comes back when they got Artest to make a serious run, but it doesn't sound like it.

I think the reason Reggie's retirement is so poignant is because he sort of ends that era of all those 90s rivalries between pacers/bulls pacers/knicks bulls/knicks knicks/heat etc. That era was my favorite and Reggie was like the last link to all those duels with Jordan, Starks, Spike etc. And now he's gone, the Knicks suck and there isn't a really good rivalry left in the league right now.

sad to see him go i grew up watchin him for as long as i can remember he was definatley enjoyable to watch especially when he get on fire and start hittin them threes i wish he coulda got a ring tho

as a knicks fan, i naturally dislike him, but--and i hate to admit this--he was a great player and a great shooter. seeing the highlights of the end of the game was pretty strong.
