:thumb: add QD3, Live Squad, Scott Storch, DJ Quik, Raphael Saadiq, Red Spyda, hell even Rick Rubin just not fuckin Eminem. Someone said this once before and I'm really starting to believe it now......Eminem probably fucked his album up so bad so he could be the number 1 selling rap artist. it really makes sense.

OK, I usually respect what you have to say but...are you fucking high?

How does "fucking an album up" make you the #1 selling artist?

that she neeed eminem to produce showed what little confidence afeni had in us 2pac fans thinking that the original beats/lyrics would not be able to sell... :o

Do you think that we, the people who are 2pac's "built in fan base" are the only ones she thinks about when deciding who she ok's to do what?

Hell, knowing we are a "built in fan base", we're probably the LAST ONES she thinks about. She's thinking about who she can get on the album to make it sell and who will cause the album to grasp new fans.

man there was no slick moves..

he wanted to do the album as hes a fan...he got down to it and realised maybe he wasnt good enuf YET to be producing the best rapper of all time.

maybe he was rushed maybe the acapellas where damaged..

maybe eminem isnt a good enough producer.

not trying 2 disrespect u but are you a dumb ass???? he made " a crooked nigga 2 " into Run Rabit Run ... "DOnt u trust me " into STAN... and one top of all this he changed his VOICE.....

What kind of peice of shyt r u to have 2 change sum1s voice to fit a og beat u made.... i swear he could of eaither slowed or speeded up his beat to make it fit ... it prolly would of sounded better or jus tha same a lil quiker.

TRUTH:

all the controversy on this album promotes a FUCKLOAD of sales....

it being shitty can actually make it sell more.. ppl hear about it and get curious and buy it.. i mean as soon as i heared how much of a disgrace it was to pacs legacy, i decided i wanted to buy it and hear it myself.. i could have just downloaded it but i wanted to actually own the cd.... for real.. all this talking does nothing but promote sales, obviously amaru dont give a shit look at what theyve done

producing for his self and sum wack artist that is still alive (obie)

is nothin like producing for best rapper of all time whos been dead for 9 yrs

Man, you got a real bad attitude somewhere down the line.

a week or two ago people were accusing you of being me because you were being such a staunch Eminem supporter, now you're trashing his name? Are you a fairweather fan?

Number one, since he's already considered one of the best in the game right now, I'd say he has some ability. Also, I'd bet the million dollars that I don't have that if you asked virtually any top dog in the industry (i.e. Nas, Jay Z, Kanye, Fat Joe, Ludacris) some of the most respected artists in the game will tell you that Eminem is a future legend.

As for Obie, he's fucking FAR from wack. Matter of fact, Obie the third most talented rapper on Shady/Aftermath behind Em of course at #1 and Proof at #2.

And last but not least, I fucking seriously scoff at your line "it's not like producing for the best rapper in history". Oh...bullshit! That's a crock and a half of shit. Daz produced "Got My Mind Made Up" for 2pac, which was initially supposed to be a Dogg Pound beat but Pac wanted it so Daz said fine. That beat is fucking horrible yet Pac sounds no less talented and he's actually so good on that track he makes the beat for his section of the song interesting.

A beat doesn't make or break a fucking artist and a beat is just that, a fucking beat. A beat is going to be just as good or bad as the producer made it no matter who's on that fucker. I've found myself saying many times when hearing an artist like Kanye West that I can't stand, "man, shitty rapper, shitty song, and a great beat wasted".

I think he means Eminem may have tried to stunt 2Pacs record sales, as Eminem knows 2Pac is the only person between him and #1 selling artist spot in hip hop history. I think Eminem would be excited if he, could gain the all time selling artist in hip hop, then it would show that hip hop(being started from minority culture and made an art form) was able to be dominated ruled by a #1 white artist.

The record books would have to make reference to Eminem as hip hop's greatest selling artist ever. And that would change the face of hip hop forever, because when you think of hip hop from then on, you would think of the art form being mastered/shaped by a white artist. Hip hop would be referenced to as "Eminem's baby" and lose alot of its origins and what it was really about.

Am I the only sick of hearing about eminem whenever I turn the TV all it is fuckin gay boy soldiers all the god damn time :(
It's a shit song an so is mosh everyone know's he only did it for more publicity cos of the election immortal technique is the rap politition not him :p

Anyways, he fucked up. I think Eminem's production skills are pretty average and in small doses it can be alright.

I definately agree that Eminem fucked up on this, though I do listen to the album about once a week and I think it gets more hate than it deserves, but nonetheless, he did fuck up.

As for Eminem's beats being "alright" and "pretty average" that's ridiculous. 95% of the stuff he has produced have ranged from great (White America) to fucking spectacular (Lose Yourself). He just...lol, fucked up on this.

Funny thing is, if Em had produced the new Ludacris CD instead of the 2pac one, it would have been LONG GONE OVER AND FORGOTTEN by now.

I'm pretty sure Dre declined the offer for one of/or all these 3 reasons.

1. It would be awkward, considering 2Pac had beef with him.
2. A follow-on of 1., out of respect for 2Pac's wishes.
3. Money. Dre can make a shitload for beats - Afeni would be paying nothing, or peanuts.

Or 4. It's reported that Dre, while respecting Pac as a man and a rapper, didn't want to work with him because their personalities didn't match.

At least that's what I've heard, from several different sources, including Hurt M. Badd.

Yeah, as do all of us. However, I hope that Eminem wouldn't do something like that. There is no reason to believe that he would think he'd need to. I mean, while Pac is the number one spot, and while he does indeed still sell like crazy, Eminem knows that when you think about it rationally, Eminem is pretty much inevitable to surpass Pac.

I think too many people, including yourself, are stuck on this whole race bullshit. I'm so fucking sick of hearing it. You're such a Pac fan, heed his advice from "Ghetto Gospel":

"It ain't about black or white cuz we're human."

OK, now you're just sounded like an paranoid fool.

Despite the fact that I just disagreed with you, I agree completely here.

Man, I'm so fucking sick of these idiot haters coming in here with their various "Eminem Is Out To Make Rap A White Racist Form Of Music" bullshit topics.

Man....why the fuck people always have to resort to the fucking race card when they can't win a debate?

I too had heard this but really, Dre's personality could hardly clash with 2Pac's in 2004 when one of them was dead.
