What is everyone's opinion on reality tv? Has it affected your life in any way? has it changed the way you look at people from different cultures?

not that good anymore at first when they were starting out the hype and everything it was alright but now its too overplayed like 8 survivors, 4 amazing races, 6 bachlor/ettes.etc a little too much now.

I'm not gonna go with the consensus - I'll admit it, I like reality TV!! Survivor and the Amazing Race are my favourite shows! lol. I love the places they go to....and I think the concepts are exciting. So to answer your question pOEtiCLaOSBOi - that does portray a different side of culture, but it certainly hasn't affected my life...just gives me something to watch! I even get sucked into watching the Apprentice....and Australian Idol and American Idol, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I really can't stand ones like Big Brother though, it's painstakingly boring!

I like reality TV, The Apprentice is great, i feel really annoyed if I miss an episode. And I also like The Ashlee Simpson Show (it makes me laugh a lot!) and The Block, especcially the second season.
