i know 95% of the rappers you guys put up and no offence but at most theyre "above average". None of them can touch someone like Jay Z (if youre talking commercial) or any of the underground artists im about to mention: Classified, Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Ordinary Peoples, Non Phixion, Vakill, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Intifada, Aceyelone, Akrobatik etc etc etc etc...
long story short, anyone who knows anything about hiphop knows that UK rap is still years and years away from touching anything significant put out by the US...anyone who says otherwise is biased or ignorant....
9 times out of 10 I leave plenty of room for debate, but this is one thing which I see as fact, not simply opinion...
you give me the illest UK hiphop song youre heard, I'll drop you 100 better ones from the US...
the reason is simple....in the UK its relatively new, the funding is a lot less, theres much smaller commercial scope for success, and its in its "infancy" so to speak...
Lets note Ive been in the UK almost my whole life, and Ive been writing/producing for damn near a decade now so im not some red neck US loving moron

(im not saying you are either Sicc dont worry)...
peace
