I'm gonna tell you all what happened to me today. I'm currently in my second year of college, never caused any troubles, never failed a class so far, and am generally quiet in class. Someone was throwin stink bombs half the day and for some odd reason, the Dean wanted to search me and my room. So he went through my room and he me empty out my pockets. Well I carry around a few of my perscription pain killers incase I seriously need them at any given time. He seen them and asked what I had them for. I told him I was prescribed to them and I carried them loose in my pocket for when i hurt. Well he said that it was illegal to carry them and preceeded to tell me I was expelled from school. I had two days to get everything together. I told him I better get my money back and he said I won't. So I start packing thinking about how a chick in my class got caught snorting an OC 40 and had about five on her. She didn't have a prescription either. All the Dean did was take them and give her a warning. And she's been in a hell of alot more trouble than me.. Also, I'm being charged with possession of a narcotic and possession of a controled substance.. wtf man.. I'm lookin at some jail time now over this BS. What do you guys think of this?

I never had a lawyer before. I always had a public defender when I was under 18. I can't really afford a lawyer, but I did call one to see what I could do legally. He said I do need a lawyer like Zero said and as soon as I save some money, I'll get a lawyer. I paid for most of college most other people who go to college.. Student loans.. But thanks for the support everyone. Sucks though, if anything, I get none of the credits I earned thus far if I go somewhere else.
This isn't right, seriously get in touch with ur lawyer or someone who can give you some advise. They can't do that shit, make sure u take action quick, u don't want some asshole to fuck up your education. So does your dean have something against you or is he generally an asshole, make sure he pays the price of this bullshit decision.

can contact the doctor who precribed them pain killers to you? do you not have the original capsle that they came in?

if you have a prescription for them make your doctor write a letter and show it to him. Then threaten to sue him.

Well the local newstation is sending someone to my dormatory tommorow to talk to me about this. My docter already mailed the school a letter stating I have a prescription to that and why I needed it. I guess that's all that be can done for now. Thanks for all the advice, I let everyone know how this ends up.
