Technology Rar Problems.

Wassup Board.

I've been downloading a few files and programs that have been in rar files. my problem is everyone that i un-rar, i get a message at the end of the unrar saying the file is corrupt.

anyway to get the files?

What you should do when this happens is first try to download the file agian just incase. If that doesnt work follow my instructions to rebuild the corrupted archive.
1. open WINRAR
2. Click File on the Toolbar in winrar
3. Click open Archive and browse for the corrupted archive you want to open you will get an error complaining that the archive is corropted
4. Click Tools on the toolbar in winrar
5. Click repair archive and choose to treat the archive as a RAR archive
6. browse for the folder that you want to save the repaired archive to
7. If all goes well you can now extract the rebuilt rar from the destination that you chose to save the rebuilt archive.

also try to download the file using a download manager,that might help if ur internet connection is fuckin up(packets getting corrupted while transferred).
