Rap-A-Lot CEO James Prince won in Court recently against drug boss Michael "Harry-O" Harris. Prince was subpoenaed back in April of this year as part of the lawsuit between Harris and Death Row Records.
Harris' attorney Steve Goldberg was seeking to determine if there was a financial relationship between Prince and Marion "Suge" Knight, as part of Harris' battle for control of Death Row Records. Ironically the subpoena was served as Prince sat next to Suge Knight during a boxing match.
Prince refused to answer any questions and the judge threw the case out after Prince's lawyer challenged the legality of Prince being deposed concerning Suge Knight and Death Row.
"Harris is a pathological lying snitch," Prince said adding that he was "pleased with the judge's decision on the court ruling."
Harris and his wife Lydia had won a $107 million default judgment against Knight after the pair claimed they helped fund the label's start. Knight then filed bankruptcy recently in a tactical move against the Harris family. Death Row is currently under management by a bankruptcy trustee, who have announced an Oct. 31 deadline for creditors to file claims against Knight and the label.
