yes yes, first off, i'm a hiphop man in heart and soul, but i got a weak spot for Rammstein. Their heavy, german, industrial rock gets me going like nothing else. Its original, its inspired, its musically very soundly put together. The singer has an amazing voice.

And best of all, they sing in German. Their native language (and not like so many others do, sing in english simply cos that has more "crossover power") and German is very very well qualified for the type of music they make. It's heavy and full of feel and feedback.

damn i love it. so who's a fan, eh?

p.s. even my dad loves their shit, he's 56 and the type of dude that normally listens to Vivaldi or Bach :D:thumb:

I havent heard much of their stuff... but they are reasonably popular here... well in alternative music circles anyway, lol. I never bought any albums but a couple songs I thought were good, like 'engel' :thumb: :thumb:

I got their new album last night. It's pretty dope. They stay the same music wise. " Te Quiero Puta! " is probably their best song on the album and different aswell.

lol, their videos are original, definitely.

besides that, i dont like their music but i like the fact that they are popular in many parts of the world, even though they sing in german.

they became really popular here, and though I didn't like them at first, I find their songs quite addictive now, speccially Engel and Ich Will :S I saw some of their live shows and yeah, they are insane

Yeah I agree. But most people don't like Mutter because they nearly broke up during that album (I think).

Mutter>Reise Reise>Rosenrot>Sehnsucht>Herzeleid
Did they? I dunno that much about them, but I'll agree that Reise Reise is the second best of those albums, Ohne Dich is a great song.

Personally, i prefer Sehnsucht and Herzeleid over their newer album. THey were more gritty back then.

I enjoy Rosenrot a lot. Fav tracks up to now are Benzin, Rosenrot and Hilf Mir.

Im very happy to see a decent lot of people enjoy their music :thumb:

I dont like them. They were only big here because the skin heads liked them or because people liked the shock value; around the same time as Manson was popular.

To me a lot of their songs sound the same, and their image is gay as fuck. When they played here they had strap ons on during the show and sprayed milk out of their dicks.

Oh c'mon, man. Rammstein is far more than image. The strap-ones with milk were part of the show around "Buck Dich" (Bend Over in german). When they play "Seemann" (=Sailor) they have a guy crowdsurfing in a rubber dingy. It's a show, not a portrayal of their sexual choice

It's silly you do them off as gay for their acts during live shows. I bet you those guys are everything but gay. I expected better from you ;)

Rammstein are gay. I saw a video where the singer flopped out a fake cock and bounced it on a skinny little bald dude bending over, then blew his fake load all over the guy and the crowd. If that is not homo...

Rammstein are okay. I prefer Marilyn Manson though if you wanna talk about shock value, I find him to be a better musician, with more relevance, better songs and a better live set. Mechanical Animals and Holywood are great albums.
