Ramadan Mubarak to tha rest of y'all too. FIrst time in years I actually woke up to eat, tho I didn't eat much. Usuaully I don't wake up to eat n just wing it for tha rest of tha day! Watch out when Ramadan is tha summer, that's gone b killin! More ajr tho.

Ramadan Kareem everyone. I hope those who are fasting complete the cycle and dont get lazy. Is anyone a Shia Muslim I know they only fast like three days I might do that. I hope i can do a full month i did it last year. Some people also smoke tobacco while fastin is that right?

water isn't suffice also, the ahadith states that you must consume atleast a morsel.

Karma* - that's on an ignorant tip. Do not miss out on the reward of the month of the Qu'ran.
Work hard, don't aim for an ordinary fast of abstaining from food, go above that, abstain your eyes, ears and especially tounge from haraam. The reward of good actions in ramadan cannot be expressed in words.

Don't miss your prayers, I know taraveeh is difficult but if its too hard then atleast pray your isha. Fajr shouldn't be missed, you wake up anyway and it remember, your standing infront of the creator at that time when everyone else is asleep in enjoyment.

As far as I was aware of, I knew u had to eat AT breakin fast but wakin up to eat was an option, tho prayin fajr is a requirement. My dad is real advanced in knowledge of Islam n has always at least made me drink water, I think tha fact that u CONSUME sumtin (as u can use water as a form of breakin fast), in tha mornin it counts. It's just that it's hard to translate tha actual word tha hadith says to sumtin in English, so closest word is "morsel" which indicates sumtin eaten rather than either/or. But God knos, I'll hav to check n see, either way good lookin out.

I remember my moroccan childhood buddy doing it pretty easy during Ramadan. Then again, he always so looking forward to the Sugar Feast at the end, lol.
