Anyways, this is not the first time something like this happens in Australia. Wasn't there at one point a problem with asians (mostly Koreans) and whites?

I'd say about 80% are Australian born. I'm sick of the media, they blew this whole thing out of proportion with this text message shit. Not only did they publish a time and date of when it was going to happen on international TV, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that they have created the rest of the text messages. The media are the main instigators of this incident.
Also, fuck the police. I can do without them hassling us every day so far this week. A bunch of rude, ignorant mother fuckers.
I have friends on both sides of this shit, and it is a shame how big it has gotten, and how it has given Australia a new Neo-Nazi image.

Thats the thing, these dickheads are sayin "get the hell out this is our land" when a large percentage were born on the same goddamn land! There is a gang problem in Sydney and probably every major city in Australia, and it needs to be dealt with, but the way it came about last weekend was ridiculous, if you have a problem with a group of people who are intimidating you then protest against it on a gang basis but it was clearly a racial issue atleast thats what it seems to have turned into. The thing is if this turned into a war amoungst all "migrants" (as in non-white Australians) and White Australians the non white would win, I was in Sydney a few weeks ago and I swear to God these racist fucks would get shut down within a day. It's sad though they're trying to "protect" Cronulla at the same time they're shitting on it.
Now theres talk of it spreading through the other states, but thats probably just the media hoping and wishing.

Police got a wide area on lockdown, so I guess there really can't be anything--at least in the 'hot-spot' areas that the police are. Another city (Perth) warned muslims about visiting certain areas, so it may have inspired others but nothing has manifested yet.

Also a few arrests have been made I think. I saw one guy who was
affiliated with white-power groups get his house raided, and several weapons and white-power literature etc. was found at his home.

The angle of 'White Power' is really being played a lot in the media, it appears as if 'ordinary' Australians aren't capable of this but it is the work of certain extremists.

I got confronted last week at a shopping mall, 3 dude's came up to me and asked if I was Lebanese. I said nope, im Portugese/Brasilian (im not even that tanned). But I felt really disrespected, I was with my 10 yr old sister and mom when they came up and asked me. I didn't feel disrespected because of the question but rather the fact that I was with my family and they came up to me asking such rubbish questions. I told them, if I was Lebanese would that be a problem? Because as far as im concerned, Lebanese, Portugese, Australian, Ethiopian were all the same. We eat, breathe & shit.. live and die.

They walked away and asked another guy whom had slightly tanned skin. This happened down the Gold Coast. I felt really sad, like my heart had been slightly chiseled off. I guess we as man can't accept that we are all the same and equal. Money doesn't mean you'll go to heaven infront of a poorer person. White doesn't mean you'll be loved by the Essence more than an Asian person.

Respect, morales and values have been really forgotten. The more evolved our world gets the more barbaric we become.

Anyway its been a month or so now, and things have cooled off a bit. Police presence probably has a lot to do with this. Some dudes are still getting caught with weapons in there cars, some aussie dude had a petrol bomb on a bus in bondi, and some lebo had a grenade in his car, thats what i have heard and read.
Personally, havent had any dramas except cops stopped me twice to search the car, cause I was in the wrong area late at night I guess.

Some a**hole poured a bucket of paint on this chicks car. She is white anglo, her boyfriend is lebanese, im good friends with her bf, I wonder if this happened because she's going out with him, can't think of another reason why.

Im a bit concerned what will happen on new years eve in the city, usually a few hundred thousand people celebrate there, and everyone will be drunk too.
