think about it:

fake ass bitches
do for love
only fear of death
when i get free (parts 1 and 2)
wonder if heaven got a ghetto
hellrazor
r u still down
definition of a thug nigga
lie to kick it
enemies with me
16 on death row
nothin to lose

this CD is full of bangers and has NO weak songs at all....the only song I skip is "thug style" and thats only beacuse the Original version kicks its ass

Not the best. There's a lot of good songs...it's consistent, but there's not as many great songs as on some others.

yeah I like Makaveli and All Eyez on me way more. I think Still I Rize and Better dayz would still be higher on my list.
I still listen to R U Still down quite often though.
It has it's own vibe. It's a shame that "Are you still down" original is not on it.

RUSD is definitely the best posthumous album imho, listening to RUSD is what got me listening to pac, and tbh i only listen to the first disc

is anyone willing to share/upload the lie to kick it og?

Look on YouTube mate, there's a vid with Syke, Warren G and a bunch of other artists in the studio rapping to it when they were making it.

The "Gz Up Hoes Down" sample is identical to the Snoop track, and not an interpolation of it as used on RUSD. I have a version of it but I think it a could be a remake as it's only Pac and Ritchie Rich.

Nah, i think Thug Style got a better vibe on the retail version.

Anywayz, compared to the rest of the after-death albums, its hard not to give RUSD its props. The whole album has that raw azz feelin to it. I think my least favorite song on it is Fake Azz Bitches, but I want skip it because....itz kinda hard to explain but every song fits on here. Some songs like R U Still Down, When I Get Free and Fuck All Ya'll i think should have had the OGz, but these songs were at least decent. The quality really fit the times. And Hellrazor remains to be one of the best remixed Pac tracks of all time along with Better Dayz Street Fame and Until The End Of Time's Letter 2 My Unborn Child (maybe). Still I Rise didn't have too much remixin', but an OG version of that album really could have helped that cd. U Can Be Touched, Tattoed Tearz, Still i Rise and Secretz Of War. I also agree that it is really slept on.

Anywayz, R U Still Down didn't require much modifications to that album because they had tried to retain the sound of the so-called ThugLife era or early 90s, with only revising a few songs and fixing the quality. As successful as that album was, I'm surprised that they don't give his deathrow era tracks the same treatment.

I liked the album, but it was just so dated... other than the classic Dre, Snoop and Biggie songs from the early '90s, not too much music of that era is really still bangin. There were too many filler tracks on that one anyway. VIBE had an accurate review where they said it would've made a great EP rather than a double LP.

great album, its deffinetly the best posthumous album AFTER 7 Day Theory.

I do listen to this on the regular, the production on it is dope

lmao Poor Thuggy. >.<

j/k.

I gotta go with MATW album as his best....HE even said it was his favorite.

But each album of pac's usually has few skip tracks anyway. So, it's really hard.

I gotta go with 7 day theory as his 2nd best, with the others close up.

Thanks for the post though, i didn't realize all those songs were on the same album. I gotta go bump it again.

suprisingly this was the first full 2pac album i heard back in like 1998 and its what drew me to him. after hearing that i think i bought 2pacalypse and ended up getting em all. suck it.

I disagree, Tupac said his most favourite un-politically correct album is All Eyez On Me.

yup, same here :thumb:

I think all of his after death double LP's would've been better if they were 1-disc albums.

7 day theory is the best. Even if the only three songs on there were Krazy, Hold Ya head, and White Manz World
