Why are people angry at Arnold? He did not judge the man, he did not sit on the jury or the bench. He is a governor and it is not normal practice for a Governor to overturn a conviction. Last time it was done was by Reagen and it was because of mental illness, not because of celebs fighting for an inmate. Be mad at tookie for killing the people he killed, he is the only person you can blame for this. Do I agree with the death penelty? That is not the issue here but as long as it is law then you have accept it. And why is it this case you guys are up in arms about? What about all the other death penelty cases? is this one special because it involves the crips and everyone here thinks gangs are cool becauses rappers are in them? Say fuck the death penelty if you really mean it, and go fight against it. Saying fuck Arnold just makes you look stupid and well kind of dumb, the man had nothing to do with this case and had no place getting involved in the matter. This is why we have trials, it is so you can be judged by your peers, not your governor.

I myself said he should have been spared his life because of the work he was doing but he was not owed it. And most people who are granted clemancy repent and admit their crimes, that could have made the differnce had he done that in the past instead of maintaining his innocence. There are many inmates who turn their life around behind bars, nobody see's their stories on the news and nobody here would give two shits about them. The only reason this is such a big deal here is because it is gang related which makes it rap related.
No he wasnt tried by the governor, he was already found guilty and sentenced to death. Arnold had no cause to overturn it and agree'd with the ruling that was handed out over two decades ago. So please tell me how arnold tried him.Aristotle said:

Arnold did not decide that. A jury decided that years ago. It is not up to the governor to place his personal beliefs and opinions on such cases. The only reason a governor should ever step in and overturn a jury ruling is because of overwhelming new evidence. If we have governors stepping in and deciding cases then we might as well throw out the whole trial system and have mini dictatorships where the governor is the judge jury and exuctioner.Aristotle said:

Seriously though, it was real unfortunate that Arnold or whoever's telling him what to do failed to see the positive influence Tookie coulda continued to make if they kept him alive.
