Even when I listen to Bomb First and hear the "westcaost ridah, coming right behind ya, should have never fucked with meeeeeeee" line I think its kinda sad, like yeah but someone did fuck with you lol. So it would be even sounded even worse if all the OG disses were left in.

Interesting that the XXL article about the making of Makaveli never mentioned the "death threats" or other stuff edited out. Was Edi and those others interviewed covering this up? Wonder what the truth is though.
 
Ok here's another one for Dante or Kazi or anyone else who knows... how come Pac's verses are in such shit quality in Unconditional Love? Did they lack the proper technology in '98 to fix the acapellas? I really love that track but the quality kinda throws me off at times.

They used a radio rip for the album, the DAT was stolen.
 
Wow thanks for the info. That's pretty sad. Dante you know what the person with the DAT plans to do with it? I suppose i can't really comment on the person with it but it seems pretty scandalous to me.

amaru (mainly lapolt) have taken an aversarial approach to people with recordings they need... the person with it is not the only one who has been the target of lawsuit threats i'm sure (well i know personally of that experience). well, i've said too much :P
 
just when i thought there was nothing left to really talk about in the 2pac forum, this thread is produced. I have to admit that I am also very interested in what dante said about the demo version of makaveli and now he even furthered my interest with lawsuits over original dats. All bullshit aside, if you (dante) feel kind enough to devulge any other sort of random trivia concerning 2pac, please do so.
