yes. it's pretty sloppy actually. light yeard worse than the lost tapes sessions. he's b-boyish, with a x-clan/pe kind of subject matter.

another day another hater, welcome on my ignore list.
tired of clowns like you...
it's that easy to ignore him? i wish i thought of that before

anyway, dante might have something, but i don't think he actually recorded much as mc new york... if you want a good look into that era, pick up "The Lost Tapes"

thx, but i already got lost tapes (6x to be exact) + pac performs as 2pac on the lost tapes songs.

i never heard "mc new york" outta pac's mouth on any song i got.

i only know "breakin' trough" as a definite mc new york song.
what else did he record under the alias mc new york? any idea?

it's always the same mechanism.
when a new 2pac album/mixtape/whatever with previously unreleased stuff is anounced, then these songs (in its original form) leak in masses on the net very quickly.
remember how fast all the mak&dil songs leaked after daz anounced the release of the ep.

preorders preorders preorders

i think he means that daz made a mill on the pre-orders for mak&dil or something to do with that. remember how he sold it for $500?

or i am an idiot and i think i am smart lol.

read into that whatever you want. :)

Are you refering to your previous post regarding some material that Amaru doesn't own being made available to the fans?

Correct, Daz was selling them through his website for $500 a pop, but he was supposed to autograph each album and include a DPG Recordz jacket or something, if I remember correctly. But a little bit later, he offered just the album for $50. Thank God I didn't have PayPal at the time.

I read somewhere that "Lifestyle of the Poor and Homeless" is one of his earliest tracks.

Not sure if this helps.

Peace

The song "When Will You Learn" and "U Don't Wanna Battle Me" (not the Ryan D track), along with a few others, were recorded on a cassette which Tupac lost

when will you learn, being the first ever known recorded track

however there are mc new york material which exists all of which are in acapella format if im not mistaken

at first he charged $500 for the album. no jackets, no fancy stickers, no posters, no nothing. just the album. then, when the people who were willing to pay that amount of money had pre-ordered and pre-orders started dabbing off, he lowered the price to $50. that's still rather pricey for an ep, and we all know that half of the tupac scene are either cheap or not that into tupac's music as to spend $50 on an ep that would ultimately leak onto the net anyway. however, a lot more pre-orders were placed, and the people who had paid $500 was starting to question shit. daz promised that everyone who paid $500 would recieve a "special edition" of the album as well as some extra shit like posters, stickers, a jacket, whatever, i don't remember. soon as pre-orders went slow again, daz lowered the price to $20, which sub-sequently led to even more pre-orders being placed. a while later amaru secured the rights to the tracks and the album was stopped. by this time daz had probably spent half of the money on crack already, so there was no way he could pay it back. either that or he's just a fucking bastard.

anyway, this thread isn't about that. i was just assuming that whole incident was what dante referred to when he was talking about pre-orders, seeing as how the post he quoted mentioned mak&dil and there was a whole pre-order situation surrounding that album.

or maybe some nice shit is gonna turn up on "how he wanted it vol. 2" which i think is up for pre-orders right now. no matter what he meant we'll all find out one way or another so just be patient.
