It just wanted to know how much it has costed you be in college. Do you work two jobs or just one. Cause I'm gonna be a senior next and I'm gonna get a job so I wondering should start saving up for college or spend some money on my car.

It depends.. i cant speak for other countries, or even states, but the state of california provides you with a gang of FREE money if your financial situation at home shows you need it. It also depends on what college you attend.. wheter its private, public, or community.. then it also depends on the package that the school offers you.. If anything, you can get loans that you dont have to start repaying until you graduate.
I get about $1500 in spending cash each year after my tuition, room, board, all that shit is paid for. During the school year i worked about 35 hours a week.. 2 jobs.

i think you should get a student loan that you dont have to start paying back on until about 6 months after you graduate. thats what i'm doing this year.
but when i was going to the local community college it was pretty cheap a semester, like 1300 bucks a semester(12 credit hours) not including what you pay for your books.

try to avoid the student loans if possible.... if you miss one of the payments then your credit fucks up big time.

as far as im informed,student loans dont show up on your credit history. the government collects the debt through your tax returns and tax credits. thats if its the government thats providing the loan. theres some 3rd party student loan institutions.
p.s: since im in canada this may only apply here,not sure bout the system in the u.s.a

my tuition is 1400 a semester excluding books. Student loans fuck you over in the long run, my english teacher in grade 12 said she still has 12 years before she repays her loan and she was like 28. My parents are paying for my tuition so i don't have to worry 
they do show up on your credit history. My friend, who works as a loan consultant, told me about a doctor who was rejected a small loan (200,000 or so) for having missed a student loan payment some 15 years ago. It stays on your record for like, 20 years, literally. The guy who was applying for the loan provided net income of his current office totaling like ~50,000 a month.. but because he missed that payment, he was not able to receive the loan.
there are so many different types of loans out there for school. scholarships and government grants too. just do some research yourself. ask you guidance coucler at school, they will give you better info than any of us on here.

You get scholarships depending on certain characteristics (ie if your the first in your family to attend, your parents are members of the elk group(?) etc). Research them online.. just ask your counseler at school for the web address that lists them..They arent neccessarily easy to get.. i didnt receive any until my 2nd year of college cause i didnt do to well in high school...
Dont worry about the money.. there are a plethora of ways that you can pay for college.. The worst that could happen is that you graduate with debt.. but you will not get dropped from college for financial reasons unless you yourslef allow it. They have 3rd party loan agencies who provide money if you need it.. . but at a high interest rate.

Yea there are alot of parties.. but it depends on your school again. Theres so much free time in college its ridiculous.. the only time where you dont really have that much time is during finals..

I live in Washington and my parents want me to go to the University Of Wahington, but I don't want to (though I probably will end up going there). I wanna go somewhere out of state like somewhere in California because I wanna experience something different but if do go out state it will cost me so much more so I'll probaly end up staying here although in heart I don't want to.
the whole partying thing just depends on the person. there are plenty of people who go to party schools but dont party and just study or work on friday nights. my old roommates never partied. but the block we lived on campus was full of people having parties everynight.

i was attending a community college that is part of the University of Kentucky. it's on the same campus and most of the people that go to the 2 year school transfer over. and alot of people from UofK transfer to the community college for smaller classes.
