Question About MC Eiht & Dj Quick Beef

i never knew why they where beefing can someone give me some info!!

quik had mentioned eiht's hood in a rap back in the day and mc eiht thought it was a diss

quik mentioned eiht back on some ol' demo tapes, quik took it as a diss, and dissed him on a few songs of the CMW albums. quik responded with dollaz and sense, which IMO ended the beef

In the song "Let Yo Have It" on "Safe + Sound" (the greatest album of all times, to me) Quik explained the begin of the beef... it was the line "From the TOP of the TREE we see CMW" or something like that on a mixtape.. now Ehit took it as a diss, you know, he a Tregnew Park Crip and Quik a Tree Top Piru so that line ain't clear, it really looks like a diss.

After that it all started.
When the beef was squashed DJ Quik, Mausberg & MC Ehit recorded a song togheter, it's still unreleased.

They were from rival sets. Quick is spelt with no C as a diss to Crips apparently.
