I've got a simple question.. Does livin a normal life (not bein a gangster etc.) in Usa or Canada is safe? I mean.. Does it safe to walk the streets wit a mobile or a digicam without a big danger of beein jacked? Coz all the time i hear that North america is sooo dangerous n that Poland is so quiet country but i dont think its true. Last year ive been jacked 3 times. 2 times in the middle of a day in the middle of the city. Maybe its safer coz nobody shoots guns on the streetz that often but there are jacks n fights all the time. N i wish i could move to Canada after studies coz i heard that its a quiet n peacefull country n i know that the living conditions are much better. N how it is in you're country?

well canada depending where you are. but i do think its sorta safer than the states. but that all depends where you live in the country. but conditions here are nice.

Every neighborhood's street is different. One street may be the safest shit. But the street over could be horrible.

Not to step on ur toes, you question is exetremly vague and ur going to get a lot of similar answers. And you're gonna get fed up with it...

yeah but i mean.. umm.. in Poland its nearly everywhere.. there are few districts for rich ppl but its like a 1% of a city. Its rather clear that in bigger towns its bigger chance of gettin jacked etc but there are more and less safe cities, countries etc.

Oh n im just curious do i need green card to live in Canada or only in US?

Yea its like that where I am in NJ... You go to Elizabeth or Newark and its mad ghetto... But you go a few blocks away to Hoboken and its alot of preppy rich kids ages 21-24 that make well over six figures and live in 2 bed room apartments that cost $3000 a month...

how many world wars have been fought on american soil?

it amazes me how some foreigners think that gangsta rap and cinematic violence represents our country's reality. the simple fact is that as a world leading country (like it or not) we also have world leading amenities that include safety and healthcare. i have never been jumped, mugged, or randomly assaulted, and i have walked down some very questionable streets at not so smart times.

the truth of the matter is that some people just carry themselves as targets. if i can spot the weak person in a crowd, so can a would-be mugger. it doesn't matter where you are, or what community you live in - there are people out there who want to do you harm if you're weak.

if you want quiet and peace, live in suburbia. if you want fast paced life that stays interesting (be it good or bad) move to the city. if you're generalizing entire countries as safe or unsafe, then you're pretty ignorant to the ways of the world.

yeah but in US its an other way around. U got ghettos n shit. Here we aint got anything like that. There aint too many rich ppl here n if someone got a bit more money than others he still leaves on the same block with all the "G"'s n shit. There are few blocks with security n shit but theyre soooo expensive n for sure sometimes u need to live that block to move anywhere :thumb:

I lived on Broad right near the courthouse... If your an outta towner, dont go to Newark/ Elizabeth at night... lol!

I would never call myself a weak person. Always Im the first to defend my friends etc when something happens. I wish i could live in suburbia but i aint got possibilities. Its expensive n in my country its really hard to achieve. So i planned to move to America like many ppl in my country that think bout future. Plus in Poland u gotta work really hard for few years to buy something really aint worth you're work

I feel you on that Masta... I'm outta the real bad part of nj now and im pretty happy.. I dont got neighbors that play loud ass reggaeton at 2am and theirs not as much garbage around anymore... Its depressing over their... I lived near Sign for a year and im happy im outta their. On the real, Newark NJ should be bulldozed to the ground and rebuilt cause I cant see that place ever becoming positive, on any level.. The US spends millions on fighting terrorism overseas, but its right here in our backyeard.. Like Pac said in Changes "Theirs more in the streets then their is in the middle east"... When you got little kids 10 years old hanging outside pizza shops asking for change so they can buy a slice for them and their lil sister, it makes you mad... And even though I dont live their anymore, it still exists and it bothers me... but then again theirs really not much i can do...

I even hate looking thru my window coz it makes me wanna jump. N its sure that i must leave my block quite often n its depressing too. I just hate living here..

your understanding of ghettos and impoverished sectors of america is distorted by the hood movies you watch.

a ghetto is defined as a section or neighborhood in which members of a similar ethnicity or racial cohort live, and they have suppressed economic status. crime is not inherent to the ghetto, just as it isn't inherent to upper class ranks. to say it is is classist, racist, prejudiced, and uninformed.

it sounds like you want to move into a different class than where you are at now, so that should be your concern - not getting wrapped up in hollywood definitions that aren't real life. likewise, if you think moving to america will solve all problems, you're wrong. being poor is being poor. coming to america under the pretenses that your life is going to suddenly get better is naive and a recipe for failure.

No it's not like that. U see.. The main difference probably is that in Poland its much harder to achieve something n u have to work really hard to have money to live. In US u have to work hard too but u gain that extra cash n u may buy something extra every month or put that money in bank. So my point is that putting the same amount of energy into the same work gives u much mere in America. Thats why its more likely in Poland that ppl choose to rob someone than go to work coz its just easier. Plus as u sayd that America is the leading country. Salaries are leading too. I don't think that its a paradise or something but it's much better. Maybe moving to America won't change everything but it will make many things easier n may change many things. I know ill have many new problems but i think that livin in America is much better after all.

Im not poor. I live just average. I go to private school etc. but i'm not rich. I don't have money to buy clothes every month n new mobile or pc every year n shit. But i know that me n my family would have much more in America than we have here if we would put the same work init. It's really hard here to live "above" average even if u got studies, great work, ure a boss of a huge company etc. N even if u got 2000$ a month someone will know bout it n someone will just run you're house. Its just hard to live a classy lifestyle here which is standart in America. Its like comparing many of African countries where ppl are broke as fuck even if they work 22h a day n they barely afford food.
