Film & TV Quentin Tarantino set to direct Jimi Hendrix Bio-pic.

Pulp Fiction writer/director Quentin Tarantino has reportedly signed on to direct a Jimi Hendrix biopic, according to Starpulse.com. To be produced by Dragonslayer Films, the movie reportedly will find the critically acclaimed auteur teaming up with Hendrix's brother Leon to tell the guitarist’s life story. Tarantino will have access to Hendrix's music and likeness as well. The film is scheduled to shoot in Seattle, Washington, New York, Toronto, Canada, and London. Also in Tarantino news according to Aintitcool.com his WWII film "Inglorious Bastards" might be heating up after Paul Walker met Tarantino and was handed the script. A possible cast may consist of Walker, John Jarrat, Adam Sandler, Michael Madsen and Bo Sevenson.

Hope it happens, i was under i impression that jimi's sister (adopted) now owned the rights to his image/music and refused to give up rights. Also jimi's brother does not get on with her at all and has taken her to court several times over the estate, i would not have thought she would have got involved if she knew he was.
Maybe the potential dollars changed her mind.
