She arrives here tomorrow and its the first time that the Queen of England has come to Ireland.

Now as you can imagine there are people here and Northern Ireland who are not too happy about that.

I heard that there was a bomb threat issued in London by dissidents. Im quite worried about this tbh. There seems to be a lot of shit happening up there these days.

I remember George W Bush came here in 2005. He arrived at an airport that i live close to and he actually stayed just a couple of mile from here.the whole place was shut down. couldnt go anywhere.

Yeah. Kill an elderly figurehead! Do it! That way, all your ancestors will be avenged! Bunch of dumb kids probably. It would be a very sad day in Ireland if any of these dissidents got to her. I very much appreciate her laying a wreath at the Garden of Remembrance. Some people will always be fighting this war, will want to until there's a united Ireland, but that nationalism has died down significantly, right Bobby? Obviously there's still a few knuckleheads running around, but the majority of the Republic is disgusted by them, no?

We live in democratic times (sort of) and so the only fair way for a united Ireland would be to do it through politics. Scotland are having a referendum on independence, because that's what the Scottish people want. Those in Northern Ireland don't want that. That's why they vote DUP.

If you gave the English the chance to vote, we'd overwhelmingly vote to give N.Ireland, Wales and Scotland their Independence. We are fed up with them leeching of our stronger economy. We even had to give Eire money, and we gave that back about 100 years ago.

As for the Queen's war crimes. Seriously, when is the past the past? Should the son be punished for the sins of the father? No, it's a stupid idea. No-one in England is proud of our colonisation (is that a word?) of the world? But does anyone still harbour a grudge for the Romans? Or the Norwegians? Or the Danes?

My honest opinion is that those who still "fight" Britain are unemployed, stupid and bored. The IRA soldiers from the 70's and 80's are now in politics. Or the drug trade.
