Q-Tip returns with new album

Q-Tip is ready to make a full return to music with the upcoming spring release of The Renaissance, his new studio album for Universal Motown.

The former member of A Tribe Called Quest says that the project will feature music from a band, but not just musicians playing their respective instruments. "I wanted a hip-hop sonic feel, something pure to the sound of hip-hop with real drums, real emotion and people taking solos. In that sense this record feels like we're moving in a new direction ... something hip-hop should do."

a year ago i hated q-tip so much all because of his high pitched kinda voice.

just cos he produced some of busta's music i began lsitening to his songs and began to like him more and more, i dont hate him, plus i like his music. havent heard too much of trible called quest's music. just the odd 1 or 2 tracks, and yea i like it, its ok.
