Where are you getting that figure from? Philips is making an All-in-One that can read and write CD, DVD and BD with an RRP of $450.

the difference in the cheaper model isnt only the hard drive.the cheap model doesnt have flash drives,no HDMI output ports so you can't play HDTV games on an HDTV,and no networking capabilities.

Sony may budge a little an drop it to $450- $500 dollars US. i just cant see it being $600 dollars.

They should offer people to start payments on it. whatever you want to pay each week. (i dont know if some places are doing that now).

They should even offer $100 dollars down payment on the PS3 if you turn in your PS2.

Im ready to get my PS3 when it finally arrives.
