^Not at all. It's not supposedly better hardware wise, it is better. None of the developer talk has turned out to be a bunch of BS either...? Developers are saying they haven't reached the full potential of what it will do cus the market hasn't caught up yet, with games being released that is. Right now it doesn't really have anything to do with how they program the games, more of what consumers are buying and giving the steady climb to eliteness, heh. The newer the games the better they will be pretty much.
Yup, it's common knowledge that the PS3's hardware IS better than the 360's. The only problem is that it's still very early in it's life span and developers are still barely finding out how to properly work with the dev kits. It's just like the PS2, compare the earlier games from when it was first released to the ones recently coming out for the. The graphics of the games coming out today are a whole lot more advance than the games that first came out in the PS2's launch.
So just give it a little time for the developers to really get a hang of the PS3 hardware and you will see so crazy and beautiful shit coming out soon.
