Seems like a PS3 will do it for me, even thought if it was less powerfull then Xbox360 whice it isn't i still would have gotten it,

First off the Xbox360 GPU isn't more powerfull just couse ATI supplied the chip and some fanboys stated above, thats like saying AMD->Intel just couse AMD is the supplier but the PS3 matches the xbox on every aspect if not out do's it in some parts.

as far as looks goes, i think the black ps3 looks better than xbox 360. as for everything else, i really don't care which brand wins because immma wait a while until the price has dropped and each has a really strong game selection and then i'll buy one. all i know is that with all this competition each side is gonna go balls to the wall and theres gonna be some crazy games

You're an idiot. Im not bashing the PS3 at all, ILL FUCKING BUY ONE ON LAUNCH DAY. But I know the PS3 wont be LIGHT YEARS ahead of the 360 like everyone is saying.

And the ATI chip is better than the nVidia chip, read any independent PC sources on the subject, its the newer more efficient technology so it doesnt need all the flops.

And the image you posted is wrong, the PS3 CPU doesnt do 2 teraflops, it does 200 Gigaflops, and the GPU does 1.8 teraflops,which is a total of 2 teraflops. But like I stated, the nVidia GPU goes about doing things differently than the ATI one, the ATI doesnt have the flops but it doesnt need them, it has 10MB eDRAM on board which will compinsate. Read any PC source they say the ATI is the future.

If anyone watches G4 / tech tv , they have a E3 special and today they showed what each company has shown so far concerning the next gen and my god some of the shit for ps3 is just crazy, Killzone (i doubt its realtime, i hope it is) looks AMAZING, i mean the atmosphere in that clip shown is beyond belief.

I am very underwhelmed with M$'s presentations im not sayin they fucked up with their product cuz i really want the system to be crazy good but damn was i dissappointed and Nintendo well atleast the system looks SLEEK and SEXY unlike the other 2.

how can the cell processor run with 200 gigaflops ? the cell might have a lower flop rate but the gpu combined with cell does over 2 tf

all this does is make it run smoother and faster
