My boyfriend has been nagging and nagging me about getting a MAC. I didn't see the need for one, I've never used one extensively plus we have two PC notebooks and a desktop, wtf do we need with a MAC?
Anyways, found a MAC on craigslist for $850. It came with Microsoft Office, CS3, a gang of Adobe programs, and Leopard. Pretty much about $1500 worth of software if not more.
Top it all off with a $40 desk and $20 chair from Ikea and i'm in love. This MAC pwns the hell out of any PC every made. I'm trying to figure out how to trade my notebook for a macbook.
MAC is AWESOME!
That is all.

. It's always good to see a new convert on the board. You're now in a hassle-free environment. I recommend getting the mighty mouse instead of using the track pad. The track pad is nice, but when you're sitting at a desk, the mouse is so much better than an ordinary mouse for windows. If you use the Spaces application, the mouse does that with a click of a button and you can bring up your widgets must faster, etc. I can't explain in full detail why its good, but I think you'd like it.
