Yea there was some news article about it a while back, i tried to find it but i had no luck

i used my csi skills and dug up some more info on this. this 15 year old kid, who goes by the name of 'mullet' received a broken nose, lost 5 of his teeth, broke his jaw on both sides (as well as the jaw bracket which holds your upper teeth), and had his eye cut after he collided with that parked car. he was rushed to the university of children’s hospital where he had to be immediately treated for a crack in the back of his skull, and internal bleeding in his brain.

i found the article on the ogrish website here which lacks any credible information as to a death and just states 'stunt ends fatally'.

As some of you may know. There has been a tragic accident with Matt Lakes ( Mullet). Matt lakes did not do it for the video, it was just a small prank gone horrably wrong. No one put him up to it, he did it on his own. But the good news is that he is recovering and is doing great.

imo, i think he's alive. if the other car was moving, and had a chrome plated bumper it would be another story...
