Post your thoughts about [The Way He Wanted It] here

With so many negative feedback i just had to download it and i got one word for it:wack. The OGs is a plus but the rest is plain wack. I only liked the new verses from love letterz but the rest of appearances sound bad. Almost all of the remixes are just like some of the wack mixes on the Kadafi mixtape, it sounds like it's not put together right and made in a few days or so.
C-Bo, Mopreme etc. they all just don't sound right because of the beat i guess caus you can't make a decent song on that horrible beat of Never be peace (Better Dayz remix) in the first place.
Sorry but this is just a bad mixtape and it looks like there hasn't been spent much time on it. If i'm wrong then my bad but they could've made it much better then this even though they don't have a large budget, promotion etc.
 
Can I ask you guys something: when is the bitching going to stop, first you hate Pac releases because you say JJ messed up UTEOT, then you say Eminem destroyed L2TG and now Assassin is droppin something that I need to get and everyone is still bitching. Can you guys please tell us what YOU really want. As a matter of fact you don't even know what you want unless you want all the tracks OG's and I don't think that's going to happen for a while. BTW I'm not talking to everyone but only to the cats that have been dissing Assassin work that came straight from the heart for the fans. And that's how ungrateful you are, sometimes some of you cats make me sick.

I downloaded it yesterday and it sounds good. I'd like to buy it. Can someone tell me what the cd looks like? Is it an original cd (not a replicated cd like most of the mixtapes)? Is there a booklet at least with the production credits?

They don't know what they want. They're not thankful for anything people like Assassin do. They have to hate on everything, and I also remember when users hated on Candyman 187, because of some stupid article. I just think, people like Assassin, should stop doing projects for alot of these fans, on this board. Because alot, not all of them, but alot of them, spoil it for others who appreciate what Assassin, and others do. People need to realise that, this was done for US! There's critism, that is ok to a certain extent. But saying shit like, "fuck Assassin, this was shit, fuck buying, lets download it!". That is out of order, and I don't think users realise how bitter, and cold that type shit is.
 
i havent got my copy yet .i just ordered it a few days ago due to lack of time on here lately.....ive heard i think all the songs already .most of them i liked alot .im very gratefull for assassian to take the time to make this cd . assassian is honestly more down to earth than alot of ppl on here that didnt even know 2pac and know nothing about the music bizz.hopefully everyone bitching and crying like usual doesnt stop him from doing a part 2
 
Better than L2TG but I wasn't feeling it as a whole. It had a few standout tracks, unfortunately it was overall disappointing.

Well JJ did mess up UTEOT and eminem did destroy L2TG..? what kind of argument is that?

But i agree with u we need2 give assasin more credit .. This tape wasnt that bad it was nice. I like how it was every pac knew.
 
did afeni have to approve the verses being used on the mixtape? cuz the "unreleased" verses from ghetto gospel are on it, she should have juss put them in the LTTG version instead of cutting them out. i like the mixtape but i dont get why they chopped up his lyrics...... isnt that what we got pissed at eminem for? even though eminem fucked up really bad
 
It Wasn't All That Good Honestly I Mean Most Of Those Tracks Are Already Leaked Or They Remixed And Chopped Up Pac Lyrics. Kadafi's Son Size Was Way Better. I Just Think There Beats Didn't Fit Im Sorry It Sucked Nice Concept Though

well people are just xpressing their true opinion, so if you would like them to lie then tell them that. everyone appreciates what assassin did and tha other producers that worked on this, that doesn't mean that we have to like it.
