Popups in FX

this shit is getting out of hand.. i cant access FX/Classifieds because they crash my fucking aol 90% of the time.. can something be done so that vip members/people who donated dont get these popups?

Pop-ups are so gay.. how many people get the Casino pop-ups and think "Hmmm I am actually kinda in the mood to gamble right now".

Over the past couple of days, when I try view a thread in FX, the pop-up will appear and I'll get redirected from the thread I was trying to look at to the Streethop homepage. Has this happend to anyone else?

I've never once had a popup from any site. If you are getting pop-ups I suggest you go to the tech talk part of the forum.

If everyone would install a pop-up blocker, wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of having pop-ups installed? Namely to raise some funds for the site.

They are aimed at the lurchers. The lurchers rarely venture outside of FX or OB4DL, and will not see this thread.

I don't wish to ban anyone. And actually haven't permanently banned anyone for a long while. People just need to realise that a net rep is worthless, so why worry about closed threads.

I know you don't want to ban anyone. Nobody really does.
But is it really so weird that we, lesser users, question our forum leaders? When you're in the top, you're gonna get criticised.
I personally believe in transparancy when it comes to such things, which is why I don't agree with your way of acting and reasoning.

fx should be a very active section on this site i think, and all those pop-ups discourage me from posting shit. Also, i think we should move FX a little bit higher up in this forum to attract more attention.

edit: pop-up blockers dont block EVERY single pop-up
