just maybe introducing some of you from what's hot (new music) at the moment.
Carmi liked that Pro Green track from another thread. as she mentioned, she doesn't really keep up to date with hip-hop any more since the board is not as active. so why not do something about it? any why restrict it to just rap (in the UK's case - grime)?

this will bring more to the table when it comes to new music on this forum. also these aritsts are building up a reputation and probably breaking into the us. look at Taio Cruz, Leona Lewis, GayLS, Dizzee Rascal and even Tinie Tempah (who i dont like btw) just did a remix with Snoop.

a lot of you will not be so familiar with this music. but hey, you might like it if i just introduce it... so here it is. just randoms. please note: i dont like all of these songs or artists, its for you, not me...

just some more here:

Jodie connor makes the good times track, which is why i believe it has become so popular. she does really well on the chorus on this first track below too. also, shy fx (D&B producer) does the beat to the third one day, by wiley.

^^ luciana is good on this track. beat is good.

its the first ive heard from him and i have to admit i like it. ive also heard good things about his album "wont go quietly" - many people saying it has a summer vibe to it. so i will check it out soon when i get the time.

UK music in general is magnificent. I'm not talking about rap, although I could be, considering how great The Streets and Massive Attack are. But I'm talking about everything really, from Morrissey to the Beatles to the Stone Roses to Joy Division to Radiohead.

If you aren't devoutly familiar with every group/solo act I mentioned, I feel terribly sorry for you.

Sorry I'm not 50 years old like you. The Beatles is past my time.

I like The Streets, Kano, Klashnekoff, alot of Dubstep, Garage, some Funky House and a few other acts I can't remember right now.

OK now that I think about it music from the UK is not poor. However, most of the commercial stuff I hear is shite!

Even though i dont listen to them, how about Oasis, Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath) etc... theyre all legends.
