Pop Up viruses 2.

There are still pop up ads on this site that contain trojans.Could u please get rid of them.My anti-virus is after poping up with a virus warning while im looking thru this site.

I understand that u need these ads for revenue,but is there anyway of getting rid of the ones that contain trojans etc?

The ads aren't going to be removed. I have anti-virus and trojan blocker, and ad blocker. I don't get shit, and my PC runs fine.

Rukas has sent an email, he doesn't get to pick and choose pop ups, they are automatic.

If you don't like it stay out of Only Built for Download, and FX. As that is where the pop ups are, to stop the leechers who take and don't give back.

If you want to donate and pay some server costs and you encourage all the other members too, then we wouldn't need ads. And you only need donate $1. That's about 50p.

Yeah that winfixer 1 was a pain, But I added adblock to Mozilla Firefox and haven't seen it since. The ads can't be selected, it's either ads or no ads, and without ads there is no revenue for server costs, and hence, no site. Also ads are only in the leecher forums, it's easy to stay out of them.

Like I said. No ads = No site, so you'll have to deal with it.


And I'll say it again incase you missed it, ADS ARE ONLY IN THE LEECHER FORUMS. You don't have to visit that part of the site, but I guess you like free stuff huh?

I like to upload stuff in ob4cl,so i go there a bit.

Im only giving out cos im having alot of problems with adware on my home pc.Its driving me insane.and Illuminatille is havin trouble solvin my problem.

I do use firfox btw.peace.

pittsey explained why one particular ad cannot be removed. likewise, unless you're stupid enough to click anywhere inside the window besides the red x, then you're at zero risk.

my suggestion to you would be to a) stop visiting warez/porn sites, and b) if you don't like popups either donate or stay the hell out of the fx cluster of subforums.

when you continue bitching about the same issue, it makes people decreasingly likely to help you. acceptance is grand.
