It depends on the crowd you hang with. I'm never at a party where the word is that STDs are crawling around in women or where fucking E and all that shit is around. Booze is different, but I never get wasted to the point of puking, that has only been on some occasions. I agree though, no music = no fun.

I honestly wondered what the hell was that dude talking about... I can't remember a party that I had that had no music and where no one danced... and there's only one black dude in my group of friends

I guess you just have to know where to go. In college, I tried the fraternity route, and it basically gave me a pass to a ton of parties going on all over Southern California universities, since I joined a pretty big fraternity with chapters all across the country. In addition, I inevitably befriended people in other fraternities, so I got to go to their stuff too. And I've seen some crazy stuff.

Well I can vouch for Arizona State and it's bullshit. We are not #1. Our entire frat row is dry, the campus is dry and our president has made every effort in making sure we aren't known as a party school, especially after that porn was shot on campus.
