Im almost ashmed to admit I have never been to Europe and am thinking about taking a holiday sometime towards the end of the year. But dont know where.

Anyone here done those paid for tours with a bunch of stops? Worth it?

You've got to visit Italy :)

I don't know if those planned ours are good though. The two only times I went to Europe it was high school trips...

But don't be ashamed of not going oversea. I know plenty of people who have never set foot outside of their city.

I never been overseas.

So I don't have the best advice. If you're not a risk taker and don't think the tour will be worth the money, I say take the tour anyway. Why not? Its much better being in a country and sight seeing then roaming around yourself and missing the best things just b/c you're a newb @ it. It would make the money you spent to get over there worth it.

If you are low on money, I suggest do what this woman did.

Literally swim across the atlantic, that should save fees just to get there. Take energy drinks and all. ;)

If you want to go to a lot of different places but don't want to spend too much money on lodging, look into couchsurfing.com

Depending on how long you plan to stay, I'd say you need to make a choice on how many countries you want to visit. You can do the American thing and breeze through eleven nations in just as many days. Doubt you'll see anything, though.

OR you can decide to stay longer in several places, to really sniff some atmosphere.

^^or Spain(and Majorca, Ibiza etc) or Portugal in summer

if its good weather you want and cheap prices you want, dont come near this place.

Bobby listed good party places, but it obviously depends on what you wanna do on your trip. Party? Chill? Culture-whiff?

I was in Ibiza and made out with this British chick. She had bad teeth. I was drunk. The end.

The teeth thing does have some truth to it. We have really shite and expensive Dental care, even when its on the NHS, its still REALLY expensive. And because we have the NHS, private insurance is expensive, so its a no win situation. The NHS is so fucked up, proof can be found when your doctor tells you to buy the medicine over the counter because its CHEAPER than perscription!

Yea most Irish and Brits have fucked up teeth lol.

I got braces when i was 17. Had to wear them for 3 years. my teeth are pretty good now though.

*smiles*
