The Texas Criminal Justice Department has confirmed that rapper Pimp-C will be a free man from tomorrow.
Streethop.com had previously reported that Pimp-C, whose real name is Chad Butler, would be freed late December early January, now a date has been confirmed by The TCJD.
Today is Pimp-C's birthday, he is 32 years old. Tomorrow will be a double celebration, and his first as a free man after nearly 4 years behind bars.
Pimp-C was incarcerated in 2002 after falling behind on his community-service obligations, imposed after he'd pleaded no contest to the aggravated-assault charge, which stemmed from an incident in which he brandished a gun during an argument with a woman at a mall. An 8 year sentence was enforced.
