The ones who waste their potential are usually the ones that contribute less to society, pay less tax, scrounge of the government and the rest of society BUT because of the "fair" way modern civilisation is constructed have, in some cases, the same say as someone who has earned their stripes as it were. The saying wanting something for nothing applies to these people. If they arent prepared to fulfill their potential work hard and make something for themselves, why should the rest of society make someting for them?

what i dont get is why people get taxed on earning bonus, where i used to work we did bonus work, harder you work more you get type thing, so i was bumping my wage up 4 - 600 pound a month extra for working hard but getting taxed to fuck on it, now thats wrong, bonus should be tax free so it is a bonus, plus the mothafuckaz re-timed it so noone could hit it (so they didnt have to pay out as much) and when we hit below expected disciplined us ahah, multimillion pound company and cant even pay there workers something they make in 5 minutes

What you fail to see is somehow it could affect you in the future. Simply said: Many people claim benefits they dont need -> the country cant afford to pay it anymore -> no support for you.

Or a bit different: The country has to pay less benefit -> lower taxes or/and invest in other things.

In general its more a justice or even moral thing.

Yeah but arn't different countries different in the way that they distribute benefits? I think Britain's slacking when it comes to that sort of thing, but then again I don't think that our government invests enough into education, if they did maybe less people would be on benefits.

i am not sure on that one, 1 in 4 people who have a degree are unemployed so where is the use in that education?
