you need a job to get a credit card so you can pay it back. You need a credit card to sign up for an account (they charge like 1 dollar or something) then you can set it up so you can add/withdraw from your bank account.

does it cost anything to get a credit card? if so how much aproximately?

doesn't cost anything, but if you buy something you need a way to pay it off, and a bank won't give one to you unless you're very rich or you have a job.

I think you need to be 18 to get a credit card dont you? Unless its branched out from a parents.
