Incase you didnt see/hear...Pavano was struck in the head/jaw with a line drive by Melvin Mora in the 2nd inning of todays game. he walked off on his own power.


all i can say is OUCH! :eek:

also Rodrigo Lopez has no-hitter and O's lead 6-0...as of this post (Baltimore is 4 real this year, they should have won also yesterday game...they might well win the division this year :eek: )

also this wouldnt have happened if Giambi cuaght that little league foul pop up....do u know how embarased it is to be paid millions and millions of dollars then cant make a play like that then have teammate almost decapitated??

he just got hit on side of his head near the ear...pavano was up and standing but they took him out and test were negative...

what does frigthen me was couple of season ago when the yankees were playing red sawx in fenway and a yankee batter smashed a ball up the boston pitchers face right near his eye and he was vomiting blood and that was nasty...he was out for awhile...forgot his name but does anyone know who im talking about and whats he doing now...

i asked my friend who attends UMass cause shes going to the game tomorrow if she can look for the special baseball they have for tomorrows game...

but back to the thread...whats strange is how joe torre told mel stottylmire that pavano reminds him a lot of andy pettitte and today he gets smacked in the head like andy did a couple of times in the face back then :eek:

That is such a coincedence. Andy pettitte used to be so sick on the yankees, now he sucks alot.

yah...and he couldnt even hold lead against My Entire Team Sux today :eek: ...

my friend called from Fenway to let me know she couldnt find the ball im looking for but she said she got me the hats the players were weraing today with the 2004 champions patch...she said people were grabbing them like crazy...but i really didnt want that to be honest with u :eek:

get to some more ballparks bud. I'm sick of Fenway. Edison Field and Camden Yards put it to shame.
