What do you guys think of this Shop Boyz song, "Party Like A Rock Star"? I've had some interesting conversations about it recently, and I'm curious for you guys' take...
Some ppl are comparing them to D4L, Unk and the "snap music" thing that's out now. I think they're really different though...I think it really brings a new sound to the south, and could even start a trend if enough ppl catch on. I love how it sticks to what the south is known for, yet still incorporates a whole new element by using the guitars so heavily. With the minimalistic snap music that's out there so heavily now - piano keys or synth, add drums, and that's the beat - I look at this as a welcome change of pace.
