We are hearing reports that Paris Hilton has been driven out of the Lynwood facility in the last hour (the early hours of the morning, California time). Paris' early release is almost certainly due to the over-crowded conditions in Lynwood (and the heiress' much-publicised good behaviour). More as we get it...

On a more serious note: I think that celebrities should be punished more severely for the insanely stupid shit they do. If it was any other ordinary woman she'd get a harder slap on the wrist than this. Especially on the subject of drunk driving, something that a lot of these teenage queens do (cough, Lohan), beatings should be administered. Hard, too.
