Very angry. That was exactly my point. I understand why you defend him a bit, but as I said, Manny's comment fell very wrong with me, and this is why:
There's a thread about a country wanting to death-penalty-charge a man that incited blasphemy. Now, whether you think blasphemy should always be non-punishable (Casey, Joker, me, prolly Da Funk, Gotti) or that you think blasphemy should be a bit restrained for the sake of respect (lotsa others), it's pretty commonly agreeable that the death penalty is a "bit" harsh, yes?
Now, Casey comes in and drops a lovely Caseyesque un-nuanced statement that he does so well.
A bit dicky? Perhaps.
Up steps DJ Manny. From his reaction he's either a muslim or playing devil's advocate, but the safe money is on muslim.
What does he focus on? Casey's sacriligeous (cheers bro) stab.
No matter the entire government of a self-proclaimed modern country of 170 million people wanting to indict a man on indirect blasphemy charges on the penalty of death.
No, the internet man insulting Allah ("pbuh" actually sounds like a Dutch spitting noise), yes, he's the real problem threat to your religion. No matter the wordly politics going on, this internet comment is the devil.
Anyone that thinks like that, God-motherfucking-please, go and take a good fuck to yourself off a cliff.
It so rubs me the wrong way. You would not believe. Furthermore, this is not because i'm a muslim-hater (you should see some of the people in the west, damn) but because I know and experienced that the muslim community can do so much better.
