Which of Pac's disses, whether it was a full-blown song or just a shot during an interview, did you think was his silliest one, meaning it had the least merit? Take your pick, and explain:

Besides Bad Boy & Biggie, I have no idea why pac beefed with all those people.

Like seriously. Someone tell me what each one of the beefs were for?
 
The one's I don't agree with:

Dr Dre: This was just plain dumb. So he left death row, he was lazy (which turns out to be something more and more artists are saying in so many words), he wasn't gay......I mean let him be, your DR career was upwards considering all the tracks you recorded with him were done reluctantly on Dre's part.

Snoop Dog: So Snoop didn't want to get involve in a fight that wasn't his? Why get mad about him about that? Get mad at the Outlaws who aren't doing what they're supposed to be doing right now or when they were wishing they 'were in the motherf!@#$%g car with you. You was right there Outlaws!! LOL :D

Mobb Deep: Should have just mind their own business. If anything they took the beef beyond 2pac's death which was just so laaaaaaaaammmmmme!!

Da Brat I don't even know what she said/did, all I know is that she was asked to keep her mouth closed.

Fugees What did they do? Never got to the core about this beef.


KRS-One Rakim De La Soul Redman Didn't even know he had beef with these guys. Including a clown like Redman. What did they do?

As for the relevant ones:


The Notorious B.I.G., Lil Cease, Lil Kim, Junior M.A.F.I.A. (as a whole), Puffy, Bad Boy (as a whole): Biggie was a given. The rest got involved coz they were down with him. Just rules of the game. Can't take that too personal, strictly business :D

LL Cool J: 2pac showed him love on 'old school' then he goes to do a remix on a track 2pac solidly believed was about him and let everyone know? Come on, you're just asking for it.

Jayz: He was just Biggies homie, but hell he got him from 2pac :D

To me the dumbest beef of them all: Hughes Brothers. Shouldn't have happened and even though he called it even, it was dumb to even start it off.

Lil Cease - He was Biggie's right hand man, and was the first to talk shit back to Pac at the Soul Train Awards
Lil Kim - She was just always at Biggie's side, plus she had a few disses toward Pac that I'm sure he probably had heard about through the grapevine
Junior M.A.F.I.A. (as a whole) - Same as above
Jay-Z - He allegedly dissed Pac on some underground DJ Clue mixtapes circulating around New York
Chino XL - He made a reference to Pac in a metaphor that Pac interpreted differently, as if he was talking about his rumored rape in jail
Nas - "The Message" was interpreted as a diss
Mobb Deep - "Survival of the Illest" was interpreted as a diss
LL Cool J - He supposedly didn't give the mic to Pac when he stormed the stage through the aisles at the Soul Train Awards, plus he made that song "I Shot Ya"
Fugees - They were affiliated with Jimmy Henchman, plus they made a reference on MTV that he mentioned
Da Brat - She seemed to have still sided with Biggie
Dr. Dre - He distanced himself from Death Row
Snoop Dogg - He stated that he was willing to work with artists like Biggie, plus he was never too much into the "riding" mentality
KRS-One - Pac just felt that he was better
Rakim - Same as above
De La Soul - They apparently had some opinions on the East/West beef that Pac was unhappy about them commenting on
Redman - Pac sort of dissed him onstage at the New Orleans concert

^If those are the reasons, then all of the beefs were stupid.
Pac seemed like a typical person growing up during his early 20s with money & power.

All of 2pac's beefs seem retarded.
Maybe it was Pac who always took shit to the next level.

^ apart form the bigie beef some of them were normal 20 year old person growing up, cant blame the guy was young and with money,...id prob pull the same type of shit if i was in his shoes,...and again there's prob stuff we also dont know about

Keep in mind that Snoop was distancing from a beef that stemmed from Pac's first shooting. I'd be pissed too if my label mates weren't behind me in a beef like that.

Pac didn't really "diss" him, he just said in an interview that because he was a fan of certain rappers (he named KRS-One, LL Cool J and Rakim), he was familiar with their rap styles and could "destroy them" if they dissed him. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), that aspect was never put to the test.
 
What did 'Pac say about Redman, and was this before or after "Got My Mind Made Up"?
 
i have never heard that he dissed Redman but wasnt "Got My Mind Made Up" originally recored with Tha Dogg Pound? 2Pac wasnt actually in the studio when Redman, Dogg Pound and Method Man recorded it?

i think the lamest one was the beef with Nas.

Like I said before, the diss to Redman was just a side comment that he made onstage at the Death Row concert in New Orleans, which I think was in January or February 1996. He called him "Stupid-ass, punk-ass, East Coast [then Pac made two slapping noises] Redman," which was made regarding how he encouraged Tyson to switch from entering to Redman's "Time 4 Sum Aksion" to entering to Pac songs.
 
I don't think nobody knows the true situation, and while it did seem irrelevant at timez, who knows what we would have done in his shoes with all the disagreements with people. The Snoop Dogg issue I don't agree with Pac on, but the rest were because people in his camp and their camp just kept on fussing back and forth. And naturally, Pac had the biggest mouth, so we all assume it was him who started things.
 
The Nas thing was petty. Seemed like Tupac just didn't like it when other people were good at rapping.
 
the thing is, Pac seemed to have a huge chip on his shoulder..... he always had to one up the next man, or be the best without a doubt from anybody.....

he was the first rapper to really take it to the level of saying he would destroy everyone and then when they started responding either saying his name in songs, interviews, or subliminal, he addressed every one of them......

the snoop thing went something like this........
Pac probably asked snoop if he would back him in this whole BB/DR thing, snoop said hell yeah, but when it started getting thick, snoop said no.... but not to pac behind closed doors, but through the media..... and i could see pac being ill at that

when Big had rappers with pretty decent reputations speaking up for him, and Pac really didnt have that.... but in 96 Pac's and DR's fame trumped all the east coast, so snoop really didnt matter in this beef anyway.....

Where I think Pac went wrong was not settling alot of this behind the scenes.... He may have not thought alot of these were big deals himself, but when asked about things or doing songs the rate that he did, he probably heard about peoples' comments in the studio or on the way to an interview and just vented his frustration on the spot....

He really did alot of these rappers a HUGE favor of even mentioning them.... everyone was seeing what pac would do or say next and it was repeated in the news over and over....
Sometimes I wonder if he did this intentionally to get this or that person a buzz and then if they wrote a song aimed at him then he would top it with something not only better but more scathing, then he would unquestionably be the best.....

some of seems petty and pac would probably say so himself..... it would have been interesting to have a 38 year old pac to ask about these things... there was probably a lot more to some of this..... especially the biggie beef.....

thats just my take, just mostly spur of the moment gut reactions to most of those listed
