pac's life import

i was thinking of ordering the import of pac's life due to the fact that it has the dear mama remix and scared straight. if and before i do, i have a few questions first:

the songs that are on the US version aren't different on the import, are they? i don't mean like the beat or anything, but different pressings of CDs sometimes have different edits and all.

also, scared straight is on the CD single of pac's life. is dear mama going to be on a single (that anyone knows of) or just on the CD? i'd rather just buy the singles rather than the CD again.

PS...before anyone says just go d/l the songs, i don't like having songs in mp3 form, so unless i can get them in uncompressed format, i'd rather just spend the money on them.

I would get the single..there is nothing special about the import except scared straight.

Really it is all in what ya want. With the single you get the track, instamental and the accapella - but there is no talk of the 2 tracks dropping as singles.

The import album has all 15 tracks and is a good collection addition.

I'd get both - that is if the singles are put out but no one is saying they are coming. There are only 3 singles so far off the album.

to get it straight:

pac's life is out in 6 forms:

1. us (explicit): 13 tracks
2. us (edited): 13 tracks
3. uk (explicit): 14 tracks (+ dear mama remix)
4. uk (edited): 14 tracks (+ dear mama remix)
5. jp (explicit): 15 tracks (+ dear mama remix + scared straight)
6. jp (edited): 15 tracks (+ dear mama remix + scared straight)

scared straight is on the uk edition of the "pac's life" single cd.
so for those who don't want to spend 35-50 bucks for the jp version just to get scared straight, it's a pretty good deal.

dear mama remix hasn't and won't appear on any following single (if the case) of the album!

Just get the UK album for the Dear Mama remix and the UK Pac's Life Single for Scared Straight. It'll cost you less than ordering the Jap version.
