You're right, there is still racism in America. In fact, a study based on official FBI files entitled "The Color of Crime" the results yielded are:
# There is more black-on-white than black-on-black crime.
# Blacks are statistically 50 times more likely to attack whites than vice versa.
# Blacks are twice as likely as whites to commit hate crimes.
# Blacks are as much more dangerous than whites as men are more dangerous than women.
So yes, racism in America exists and it always will. As far as a Black president is concerned, Whites have already given control of African countries back to Blacks.

As you can see they only use their newly found power to hurt/kill Whites. Would this happen in America? Who knows, but it is safe to assume that a Black president would cater more to minorities.

Whites didn't make them slaves nor did they "rape" or "beat" them. You are a victim of propaganda. To tell me that Christain Whites in the Bible belt "beat" and "raped" slaves is rediculous. There are more poor Whites in America than poor Blacks. What are you talking about?

Throughout the course of history there have been millions of White slaves. Whites at times have been slaves for longer periods than Blacks were slaves in America.

Nigger

Cracker
(U.S.) a white person, esp. one in the South or Appalachia with a poor, rural background. Derogatory, though sometimes used self-referentially and interchangeably with "good ol' boy." Shortened from "whipcracker," referring to slave-owning plantation owners.
As you can see they are both derogatory ethnic slurs. A Black person cannot claim the word "cracker" isn't derogatory just as a White person cannot say the word "nigger" isn't derogatory. They both are rooted in hate.
As for the White people in this thread arguing that they should be able to say "nigga", you must understand that some Blacks can get offended with your use of the word. I know, and you know that when you say "nigga" it ins't meant to be derogatory, but some Blacks may still take offense. Therefore you shouldn't use it knowing you may offend someone.

White people never stole Black people's freedom. Black people stole Black people's freedom. Waring tribes stole each others' freedom. Not White people. White people freed the African slaves. As far as Elvis is concerned, rock and roll music has influences by not only Blacks, but Whites as well.

It's funny how you can say White people "stole" anything from you or your people considering you live an breathe the White man's culture from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed at night. The White man shouldn't be blamed for anything. The White man should be appreciated for making the Black man what he is today.
And once again I am not racist, but I am defensive and I will take up for my race anytime I see it slandered. I don't feel Whites are "better" than any other race but as far as contributions to society and helping the people of the world, White people go unmatched.
