A discussion in another thread got me thinking about this, and I just wanna say this...

Out On Bail is quite possibly one of the dopest fuckin tracks of all time, and I feel that because of the whole attitude on this board that you cannot say ANYTHING positive about L2TG that this track has been slept on ever since it was released, I'd go as far as to say if ANYONE else remixed it and released it everyone would be going crazy about it, if some guy on this board did a remix and it sounded exactly the same as Eminem's everyone would be hailing him as the fucking god of internet remixes, so basically what im saying is this, I couldnt give a fuck who produced it, I couldnt give a fuck what album its on, Out On Bail is my favourite Pac track of all time, and yes, Eminem produced it.

rant over, discussions please :)

the out on bail i will stay bumpin is not produced by eminem
how could u even get more soft and just strange than that remix

Yeah, like i have already said, the OG was dope as fuck too, that's not the point of the thread.

^ agree. Out on bail is one of my fav's off of the cd, but his work with ressurrection soundtrack was much better than the album...

i've always seen this track as the best one on lttg (despite the "My nigga eminem" comment)... i doubt that's even em's fault... but ya he kept the vocals at original speed which is always a plus and the beat ain't half bad... i could actually see pac liking it today...

I agree. The album has no tracks that sound like One Day At A Time, Ghost or Dying 2 Live.

This thread got started becuz of my disliking of Ems version of Out On Bail. I didn't mean to say that it was horrible ( like the majority of the other trax on tha album), but if your going to remix a Pac song, you should make sound as good as the OG

Out On Bail OG > Out On Bail (Em's Version)
Friends OG > Friends (album version)
You Don't Have 2 Worry OG > You Don't Have 2 Worry

The best remix you can do with a song is what Nitty did with Street Fame on Better Dayz

First of all, there is NO WAY that Out on Bail would've been released in its OG form, it's just too dated. Even if it had been on RUSD, it probably would've been remixed (but clearly to RUSD standards, not in year 2000+ butchering style). But anyway, I'll agree that the remix is one of the better Eminem versions on LTTG, but it's still just a mediocre beat at best. But it's one of a few songs on the album that I won't skip within the first five seconds.

Agreed, most of the BD Remixes were on point, or atleast more on point than UTEOT and L2TG, BD will always rank as my favourite posthumous Pac release.

what about 'All Out' on UTEOT... that was easily one of the dopest posthumous beats right up there with street fame n until the end of time and thugz mansion... dang there's actually been a lot of good ones

Pac performed it live, he obviously wanted it to be heard. If he had lived longer, it would've been released.

I think if Tupac hadn't gone to jail, we could've possible heard it. Most of the death row material he produced exceeds the quality of this song.

I think this song is below average. The lyrics are pretty sub-standard compared to his other work, even around 93-94. It's bland, and lacks the emotion that he puts into his other songs. The intro is corny as fuck, too. This song looked great live, because he put all his energy into it, and put on a great performance.

Question though. Was this one of those songs that interscope denied release, because it was too hard core, or Tupac did it himself because it wasn't good enough? I know the original title for thug life vol. 1 was Out on Bail, so this would have been the title track on the album.

I meant it wouldn't be released in OG form posthumously. Had it been released in 1994 (when Pac performend it live), then yes, it would've been in its OG form (or at least 95% like it).
