Only reason I watched the Oscars was to see if the impossible could have happened, it didn't, but I felt really good that Resurrection got the closest to an ovation for just being a nominee. Maybe it was just me, but there were quite a few cheers, and remember, 'Pac never even won a Grammy when he was alive, yet the people loved him. It was the establishment that feared him, so even a nomination was a triumph, at least that's what I think he would have thought. He truly was a man for the people, that's not to say I'm not disappointed that he didn't win, I truly thought he had a legit shot.
