Not sure if anyone has done this before, but I am sure people are curious about how certain tracks were leaked to the public. For instance:

Time After Time:

time after time was ripped from a cassette advance of oftb's death row album, which of course has not leaked in full.

Confessions:

Can anyone help compile some quotes? I will look for more as well.

LOL.

I highly doubt you were the same person who sold the first copy on eBay in 1998...

Pretty sure it was 2pat that won the auction .. some sad shit too, I actually mentioned that to someone the other day and they said he died in a car accident a couple years back. Dont know how true it is but makes sense to there being no sign of him for years.

If I'm not mistaken 2 copies were sold, one of which went to Dante. Maybe even more, but that was waaaay before my time, so I can't be sure.
Perhaps Dante can shed some light on it.

Interesting thing about 2pat as well...

Dont think more then one copy was sold but 2pat made copies for some of the people running 2pacshakur.org and that's why the quality is a bit messed up. If that's on purpose or not I'm not sure but the rip that's out now I'm pretty sure is a degraded quality of actual VHS tape but is the full quality that ppl who where lucky enough to get a copy off 2pat got. Who knows though but your right dante is best person to ask about it.

Just remembered Dante said something about it here:

Hope he can shed some more light on it.

1. in 1998 a seller on ebay sold the all about u behind the scenes on vhs tapes. obviously we know who got one of them, but the other went to a collector who remained relatively silent. after the last batch of acapellas "leaked" he approached lmz with a trade, believing that lmz had a legit and stable connection. the vhs rip was sent to him, and he ripped off this other guy (because anything he had was already public). lmz then sold it to the likes of cr rebel, and that puts us where we are today... cr rebel trying to make major bank on it but was too stupid to see through a jack move.

Yeah I understand what your saying but the person I think Dante is referring to was also a member of 2pacshakur.org then out of the group who sharred this rip but I'm pretty sure the info I put is correct and 2pat is the main source on it with everyone else getting a slightly degraded copy of the VHS and that's the version everyone has now.

no. the other person who had the original copy from 1998 ripped his copy (rather poorly) and that is the source of the net leak today. the version held by 2pacshakur.org members is almost perfect quality and remains unleaked.

Thanks for info .. good to know a better version exist .. the shame in not knowing how to encode properly ;p ... but still definitely nice to finally see it after so much talk about it for years.

leaked the second half, i had the full, but i cut it short to make uploading easier and planned to leak the rest at a later time, amajn beat me to it later on. not sure how he got it though

Here's the main question, how do all these dudes get Unreleased shit to leak?
They don't "get" shit to leak, rather, they leak it themselves...shit they already had. and subsequently, they will not be able to make deals and buy shit anymore because no one will trust them, that they won't leak it like they did previously.

But how do they get all of that rare stuff?
