California Love (true OG with 3 Dre verses and no 2pac) was meant to be the 1st single for the promotion of Dre's new label:Aftermath.
Dr. Dre wanted to have nothing to do with Pac's All Eyez On Me that's why there are only 2 tracks produced by Dre on this album.
Dre didn't like that much that Pac signs on Death Row and he had already planned to create his own label.
Snoop's DJ is the only person who got that song...
That's my "Dante moment" of the day...

I'd heard years and years ago that the track was recorded in 94-95 during the same time that Can't C me was recorded for the Dogg Pound release Dogg Food. Also that Ice Cube was supposed to appear on the album as the track was set for the Heltah Skeltah release that unfortunatly never saw the light of day. Dre then dropped cube, did another verse, and was planning on releasing it on The Chronic 2, untill the whole thing with Pac went down and he ended up with it.

yeah it has green disks and its a uk version I got from a second hand cd shop it is pretty skratched though but it definatley has the two on it one on one disk and the other at the end of disk two. :thumb: also the one I bought from HMV only has the remix

True cali love og only has dr dre on it dre was gona take this to aftermath with him dj quik said this in a interview and not meny people know j-flexx wrote it and dj quik wrote tha hook, also suge night said this on a hot 97 interview with funk flex

Also natral born killers og is dr dre feat sam sneed, then they tolk him off and put cube on it
