It's the NBA still hanging on to a beef these two squashed last year. Stern trying to stir up controversy, and manufacture animosity, even if there really isn't any. A Laker victory is all I want in this one, it'd be a perfect X-Mas present for me.

I think he meant the fact that players actually play on Christmas day?

Most sports here will have a Christmas day break (though training is probably done in the morning or afternoon) Then on Boxing day is when they play.

ah, ok....well yeah basketball and football are really the only sports going on during that time....i think football is on christmas eve or day, despite it not being a sunday.....so yeah...basketball isnt the only one...
