I can't listen to Toss It Up cos it takes too long for Pac's 2nd verse to come in, I usually fast forward or just skip the track :thumb:

Probably becuase its a club song and probably ment to be bumped in clubs...the long course is perfect.

im glad they didnt put friends on Makaveli

Cuz i like the version where they put a shyty beat and take pac off the hook and adds sum amature singer.. Yep .. real happy

i only listen to the start on toss it up, cbf listening to mid, cbf fowarding to the last verse, i used to not like it because of the BOOM or whatever but i got used to it and 2pacs rapping is mad

just like daddy owns

toss it up and just like daddy are dope songs. with friends on that album it would have been perfect. i dont understand why the took it off! didnt they get the samples cleared?

Toss it up sounds like balls when you listen to the rest of the makaveli album, thats probably why some people don't like it.

Pac had to make some songs for the ladies so Just like daddy and toss it up was perfect.

I understand the formula of pacs albums, but makaveli is somthing dofferent, to me that is not a album that caters to the bitches, that is a gritty street album and should have remained so

A street album like Reasonable Doubt. No pop songs just gritty city shit.

Remember Venni Vetti Vecci, that was a great album, ever since.....Ja went Pop.

Makaveli still stands in my mind as a street album.

Plus there are enough other gritty songs from Death Row that are on-par with the Makaveli tracks.

Soon As I Get Home, Better Dayz, Fuck 'Em All, Never Call U Bitch Again, Troublesome '96, etc.

+ Good Life, When Thugz Cry, My Closest Roaddoggz, Everything They Owe, All Out, Runnin' On E, M.O.B., Lastonesleft, etc...hmmm pattern here....UTEOT could've been a gritty disc and a pop disc..but nope they made the gritty songs POP, and the POP songs gritty lol.

i always thought "toss it up" was put on there to piss off dre and teddy riley because they used the same beat for "no diggity"...didn't that cause beef between teddy riley and aaron hall?
